Snow fell last Sunday! Pretty ((: and the weather sucked for the next 2 days. It's fine now though; the sun came out today! Love the weather, love the sun in spite of the UV rays. I SO need to TAN! Haha, this reminds me -- I have coupons for free tanning sessions! Tanning salons are kinda sketchy though; I won't use them unless I'm desperate (Like in a day, 15 people think I'm from China or sth) To get an idea of how fair I am, look for a bright full moon. Yes, that's the exact shade of my face and face size. Am I in bad shape? Oh, definitely.

Of the three weeks/21 days I am back in Singapore, I will spend a daily hour out in the sun gardening or swimming or just sleeping. I will also eat and spend time training. Will decide whether to sign up for Tri-U-Mah by this week and I need to train for that! Afterall, I cannot embarrass myself. ((: Go XY!

My first football game!

This wasn't very fantastic though. The game was 3 hours long but I don't get the game. HAHA. Americans really love their football though, the team was not awesome and not professionals but everyone was wearing the school colors and cheering and booing!

The marching was pretty cool though. I like their formation! Haha. Orientation sucked, majorly! i'm going to bed soon. Goodnight!

today's june 28 - i'm leaving in around a month's time! But I have yet to get tickets because my parents simply can't make up their minds about their schedule. C'mon, let's wait and watch the price of tickets soar because of increasing fuel surcharge! An unreasonable and unjustified increase. One question - what has the world become?

My opinion: an insatiable global appetite for the 'finer things in life'. But let it be known also that the 'finer things in life' has to be exclusive. If all crave and get them, where's the exclusivity? It's simply not possible. All will try to outdo each other in the materials stakes and all they'll end up with is a barren world. Otherwise, nothing.

Pity. The world could just remain as it was last year. No orec, lower inflation, cheaper fuel and food. Contentment is sought by all but in the process of finding it, contentment will forever be evasive. Simple logic - known to all but unachievable by most.

I know why natural disasters happen. it's nature's way of saying there's too bloody many people in the planet for me to feed, some MUST go. I appreciate the sacrifice and my heart goes out to those affected but also know that it's inevitable. Mother Nature will use her own means to sustain us for as long as she can. We should curb ourselves too, indulgence is unhealthy. Hello world, less babies please!

Today started out well and ended badly. Again.

My US visa was approved ((: the counter guy interviewing me is from minnesota, minneapolis. Haha, the same place that I will be going for studies. (Good thing)
And the guard thought I was japanese (Haha - i'll say it's a good thing)

Next up was golf, course lesson. Played badly - swing was haywire, balls went left, shots were missed. (Bad thing)
Putting was well done though, most holes required only 2 putts to get in. (Quite good thing)
Went to the range to practice later. Balls were more towards the left although the last few shots were okay. (Neither good nor bad thing)

My dad asked me to drive around while he went to the pub. While reversing, I scratched the car beside me. (Very bad thing) I was so embarrassed, went to look for my dad to tell him. Found the owner of the car and he was nice about it. (Lucky thing)

But now I feel horrible - this is a bad thing. And I have to pay for the paint job - this is another bad thing.

But then again, shit happens (Murphy's Law - whatever can go wrong will go wrong). So I will continue to drive and be careful about it because who can prevent shit from happening?

this goes to show one cannot trust the words of an auntified person working at an unprofessional small shady photo studio.
she was so so sneaky, the first time she took, she showed me and i said i didn't like it so she took again. then for the second shot, she said it was alright and I TRUSTED HER. she lied, the photo turned out below par but i couldn't do anything about it because i paid before she printed and she shooed me out of her shop for 10 mins to print the photo. I was denied any knowledge of the photo. When i went to collect, i just glared at her and left.

I was walking home from the kap busstop (*digress: took me arnd 25 mins tdy!) and was a quarterway across a zebra crossing when a darned cab tried to squeeze through. IT WAS A BLOODY 4 INCHES AWAY FROM MY LEFT KNEE when it halted!!! Like what the hell! can he not judge distance? the traffic rule also states that pedestrians have the right of way at zebra crossings!! Highly irritated, i just stood there glaring then i gave him the finger and walked away. This kind of cab drivers ought to have their licenses revoked in spite of the fact that their means of living depend upon it. The way they drive merely endangers people and may cause the family of other breadwinning pedestrians to suffer the same fate. Weighing the pros and the cons, I say aye in favour of ripping the license of the errant cabbies away. I In fact, they should have the same treatment. let's see how the cabby in THAT red cab likes it when I shatter his knee. Or maybe both knees, HARD. Fitting punishment? Absolutely ((:

The day was lovely had it not been for the two irritants I met. I'm definitely more annoyed by the one who endangered my life than the one who messed up my face. Watched made of honor and had carl's junior for dinner. the chilli? cheese fries was delightful and so was the company! cheers mate ((: the burger was polished off while watching skins season 2 ((:
piling on the calories was a bit okay as I hit the gym, swam and practiced golf today.

Those jobs are definitely the worst of the lot because they rob one of one's sensibilities. It's rote learning and doing. An absolute waste of time but necessary, I concede.

Let's move on to Xy's educational prospects then. *digressing* It's really unfamiliar for me to type so much. Sigh.
I'm leaning towards pre-med or international something. Something as in business or finance. I want to have money but I do not want to have a boring office job. I can understand my Dad now. I like his 'job'. Maybe I will become like him, jetsetting to play golf, leaving my kids home alone and letting my husband bring the yen/won/kroners/rupees/rupiah/pesos/dollars/ringgit/yuan/francs/pounds/euros (you get the point? international money!) home. Then again, the goal of my life is to achieve something for the benefit of someone (maybe myself). I refute the notion of me being a selfish brat; I just want to look back and truthfully say: I have had a good life, haven't I? (This rhetorical question will need no hesitation on my part, I want it to be a positive affirmation.)

My J1 form teacher: Xueyuan is an enthusiastic and vibrant member of the class. Her interactive nature and capacity to work well with others is a defined aspect of her character. She has to exert herself in a focused manner in pursuit of academic success.

My J2 form 'teacher': Xueyuan is extremely weak in her H2 subjects and is not performing in her H1 subjects as well. She needs to find the most effective way to catch up on what she does not know and close the knowledge gaps that exist as soon as possible.

their purpose there will be better appreciated , i'm sure . (i for one will)

i'm sad to say this leaves the student no way out but to exact justifiable vengeance .
this can come in the from of many legal ways, i'm glad to say .
however, the student more often than not has a conscience and an ultra-forgiving nature ..
